Refund policy

 

Please fill our our Return/Refund form to request a refund or return. 

 

    • We have a 10-day return and exchange policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.
    • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unwashed and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the original receipt or proof of purchase to complete your return or exchange.
    • Please go to the York Lions Pride Shop website to begin your return or exchange.

     

    • During out Black Friday Sale, we will only be issuing exchanges or store credit. We will not be issuing refunds.

     

    Non-refundable items:

    • Reusable drinkware (including water bottles, mugs, etc.) and pants/shorts.
    • We will not be accepting returns for items on sale, red tagged, discounted or marked ‘Final Sale’.
  1. We reserve the right to ask customers to present Student ID or government issued photo ID to confirm any order. 
  2. Refunds can only be issued back to the same method of payment. We require original debit, credit or student card used at the time of purchase.   
  3. All refunds and exchanges are at the discretion of store personnel or the Coordinator, Business & Development.  

 

Process 

Online Refund 

  • To start an Online Refund, contact us at lionsprideshop@yorku.ca.  
  • Please include your full name, order number, date of purchase and photos of the items. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  
  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

 In-Person Refund 

  • Please contact lionsprideshop@yorku.ca to arrange for a time for your refund.  Should your refund be approved, one of our staff will process the refund for you.  Bring your unwashed, unworn items with tags attached to the Tait McKenzie Centre (Client Services) with your receipt. 

Delivered Packages (Damaged and Defective Products) 

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.   

Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items) 

  • Certain types of items cannot be returned, like reusable drinkware (including water bottles, mugs, etc.), pants/shortscustom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal items (such as locks, swim goggles, earplugs, ear buds, etc.). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.  
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items on sale, red tagged, discounted or marked ‘Final Sale'.
  • Pants/shorts are exchange only.
